R.I.P Romeo

Romeo, a large tiger at the Carnivore Preservation Trust (I refuse to say their new name, Carolina Tiger Rescue :iconnotimpressedplz: ) in North Carolina, died July 13th, 2009.

Obviously, this is the first I've heard of it, I really have to visit their site more.

Romeo grew to be 12 feet long and weight over 800 pounds. He was a very large tiger, and famous for that. He was also notorious for spraying the guests (CPT has habitats you can get really close to).

Romeo had a progressing neurological disease and his health had been declining the few months before he passed.

I wish I could have seen him before he died.
